Unveiling of The i Brand at BMW Laval

On Tuesday, BMW Laval held a big event for the unveiling of the new BMW sub-brand, a range of electric vehicles named i.

For the occasion, the dealership was completely re-arranged: two DJs, some of the most iconic BMW vehicles from throughout the years, bites for everyone, two bars (in addition to the coffee desk), painters and even a shoe shiner were there to make sure everybody had a good time!

Just before BMW's big unveiling, MINI Laval took the time to show us the all-new 2015 MINI Cooper. Tamy Emma Pepin, a blogger who drove a MINI through the UK, was there to represent the brand.

During the main event, Sugar Sammy was cheered by the crowd as soon as he got on stage. He made a few jokes, thanked BMW Laval for their support, and then gave the mic to Carmine D’Argenio, owner of the dealership.

Carmine started by congratulating three other very special guests: Charles Hamelin, Marianne St-Gelais and Mikaël Kingsbury, who won medals at Sochi’s Winter Olympics. He offered each of them paintings to honor their determination and victory.

The big moment happened when Eduardo Villaverde, President of BMW Canada, unveiled the i3 and i8. The crowd rushed to the cars, and even had a chance to sit inside the i3 to marvel at the interior.

Judging by the reaction of the crowd, it is safe to say that the i brand has a bright future in Quebec!
