2014 Volkswagen Scirocco Overhauled

The current version of the Volkswagen Scirocco dates back to 2008 and it is due for a major overhaul. This new generation will be unveiled at the next Geneva Motor Show.

In the meantime, Volkswagen has put on the web the first official photos of the upcoming model accompanied by all the relevant specs.

We find a coupe with a style both more rounded and more slender, with a more aggressive-looking front section.

The Scirocco R comes with bi-xenon headlights and 18-inch wheels as standard equipment. It is powered by a 280 horsepower engine.

Inside, the dashboard has been completely redesigned to more easily receive the latest technological advances in infotainment.

The Scirocco will be powered by more economical gasoline and diesel engines.
