The 2015 Nissan Micra is the Least Expensive Car on the Market

Yes, the Nissan Micra returns after a twenty three year absense! This “new” subcompact will be below the Versa Note in Nissan’s lineup.

Unique to the Canadian and European markets (but not Americans, nah, nah ne nah nah...), the Micra will be equipped with some nice features likely to appeal to Canadians including heated mirrors, heated foot vents for the rear passengers and rear 60/40 split folding seats. That sounds all well and good but with a base price of $9,998, we would never expect this much standard equipment. The entry level model is the S and there will also be SV and SR trim levels.

To move the lightweight Micra, Nissan uses a 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine while a five-speed manual transmission comes standard. A four-speed automatic transmission is optional.
