Mercedes-Benz Will Produce Five AMG Vision Gran Turismo Supercars

First designed for the Gran Turismo 6 video game, this magnificent Mercedes-Benz Vision Gran Turismo concept will soon make the jump from virtual mode to real-life mode. Mercedes plans to produce five units.

Based on the SLS AMG GT, the car will be manufactured by an independent company.

Due to its aluminum body, 91 pounds are shed compared to that of SLS AMG GT. The body will be covered with chrome paint, similar to the virtual car.

The engine used is a biturbo V8 producing 585 horsepower and mated to a DCT seven-speed Speedshift transmission.

Of the five models to be produced, two are reserved for Europe, two for the Middle East and a single one for the United States.

The asking price for the car was set at $1.5 million.
