Hyundai Will Offer a Tucson Walking Dead Edition

The names Hyundai and The Walking Dead are increasingly intertwined and to further that fact, the Korean automaker released the Tucson Walking Dead Edition in Los Angeles.

It’s a model destined for production and will be available in early 2014.

The vehicle is characterized by:

- Ash Black body color with red accents;
- Its roof rack for transporting survival equipment;
- Its exclusive use of AWD.

Inside, there are several easy to clean materials in case you need to splatter a few zombies during yoru travels.

The Hyundai Tucson Walking Dead Edition is powered by four-cylinder 2.4-litre engine that generates 176 horsepower. It is coupled to a six-speed automatic transmission.

It’s not quite the chainsaw-equipped Zombie killer machines that we saw at the SEMA show (and again in the lobby in LA) but they are sure to benefit from the popularity of the show.
