2014 Nissan Rogue: Full Speed Ahead to this Week’s Test Drive!

The popular Nissan Rogue has been losing ground to its increasingly competitive rivals. But the tides may turn yet again with the new generation. This week, we’re headed to Nashville, Tennessee, to test this compact SUV. Not only does it have more masculine lines than ever before, but it can also be equipped with a third row of seats. Meanwhile, the five-seat versions come with the Divide ‘n Hide system that allows you to configure the rear in eight different ways.

Sold in 190 countries worldwide – often under the X-Trail name – the Rogue is powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine that produces 170 horsepower and 175 lbs.-ft. of torque. It also comes with a new generation CVT. The S and SV base trims have front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is an option on the SL only.

All this is said and good, but what’s this vehicle like on the road? Read our test drive.

In the meantime, you can enjoy the video.
