Subaru Tribeca Production to End

First appearing on the North American market in 2005 and assembled at the factory in Lafayette, Indiana, the Subaru Tribeca will be disappearing from dealerships nationwide.

The Japanese manufacturer has decided to cancel the SUV. The move will take effect in January 2014.

In the past eight years only 78,000 Subaru Tribecas were sold.

A new crossover vehicle from Subaru will be replacing the Tribeca next year.

The question is whether this model will be called the Tribeca or by some other name.
