Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric

The Mercedes-Benz B-Class powered by an electric motor will be officially sold in North America next year.  The entry into the North American market was, faster than expected.

After the American launch, the car will be available in European markets.

Technical specifications

Its electric motor has an output of 177 horsepower and of 251 lb-ft of torque. It’s powered by a lithium-ion battery under the floor and developed by Tesla.

Some figures:

- Acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 7.9 seconds;
- Electronically limited to 160 km / h maximum speed;
- Range of 200 kilometers;
- The battery can be fully recharged in 1.5 hours on a 400 V outlet

You can even monitor the battery charging through your smart phone!
