Mercedes S-Class Coupe Sketches Confirmed as Real

Mercedes has confirmed that these sketches which were leaked online and posted on Autoblog.gr are, in fact, real and of the new S-Class coupe which is slated to replace the Mercedes CL Class.

The concept in the sketches is a 2+2 configuration and appears to differ quite a bit from the sedan version. Details are scarce and nothing is known about the engine configuration as of yet.

We’ll get a proper look once the vehicle is unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week.

There is a good possibility that Mercedes will have a the production model ready for the Detroit Auto Show in January and that it will go on sale as early as March 2014.
