Kia Niro Concept

Earlier this month, Kia announced plans to unveil a concept at the international Motor Show in Frankfurt. Today, we learned that it’ll be called the Kia Niro.

The mandate of this design concept was awarded to Gregory Guillaume, who heads the European design center Kia in Frankfurt.

There is already talk that the concept that would eventually become a production model with more realistic attributes, designed to compete with the Nissan Juke. The Juke is extremely popular in European markets.

The city adventurer

The vehicle is a compact crossover, whose main characteristic is scissor (or Lambo) doors.

The front section is highly expressive and with its triangular LED headlights & lower fog lights beneath the grille. It has the look of a sporty all-terrain vehicle, especially since its ground clearance was also raised slightly.

Inside, we note the presence of one-piece molded bucket seats. The design of the dashboard is halfway between reality and futuristic approach.

On September 10th, we will be given all the specifications of Kia Niro Concept when its unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
