Range Rover & Range Rover Sport Hybrids

Land Rover will take advantage of the impressive International Motor Show in Frankfurt to announce the launch of two hybrid models:  the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport that use hybrid technology, based on a diesel engine.

To do this, engineers have assembled a TDV6 3.0-liter engine serviced by a lithium-ion electric motor.

The choice of transmission is a ZF eight-speed automatic. The package generates 340 horsepower.

Nice acceleration

The Range Rover Hybrid accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.9 seconds, while the Range Rover Sport Hybrid does the same in 6.7 L/100 km.

Their maximum speed is 218 km / h for the Range Rover hybrid and 225 km / h Range Rover Sport hybrid.

The average fuel consumption is rated at 6.4 L/100 km.

In all-electric mode, the speed of the Range Rover hybrid cannot exceed 48 km / h, while the battery life is only 1.6 km.
