Green Car of the Year : 2013 Ford Fusion

Amongst the many activities at the Los Angeles Auto Show is the election of the Green Car of the Year.
The award started in 2006 sponsored by the Green Car Journal in collaboration with the Sierra Club.

The finalists for this year included:

•    Dodge Dart,
•    Ford C-Max,
•    Ford Fusion EcoBoost,
•    Mazda CX-5 Skyactiv,
•    Toyota Prius C.

And the Winner Is

Unveiled today, the Green Car of the Year award goes to the Ford Fusion sedan.

The intermediate sedan is available with four different yet somewhat complementary four-cylinder engines:

•    A naturally aspirated 141 horsepower 2.0l;
•    A naturally aspirated 170 horsepower 2.5l;
•    A turbocharged 180 horsepower 1.6l EcoBoost
•    A turbocharged 237 horsepower 2.0l EcoBoost
