Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse: A Convertible driven by 1,200 horses!
Up until 2010, Bugatti Veyrons were forced to settle for an 8.0L W16 with four turbochargers that produced a mere 1,001 horsepower.
Thankfully, Bugatti engineers were eventually able to design and produce a limited Super Sport edition featuring a 1,200 horsepower engine.
Today, as the Vitesse roadster makes its online premier, the French manufacturer (part of Volkswagen Group) announced the upcoming release of a convertible equipped with the same powertrain as the Super Sport model, delivering fully 1,200 horsepower and 1,106 lbs.-ft. of torque.
Leaving exotic cars in the dust
This vehicle makes even the most powerful vehicles from Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche pale in comparison. Here are the stats:
- Aston Martin One-77: 760 horsepower
- Ferrari GTO: 670 horsepower
