Vancouver Street Racers Lose Over $2 Million to the Impound Lot

After apparently "celebrating" one of their friends' departures, 13 young Vancouverites will be welcoming the world of public transit with open arms after they were pulled over and cited for driving without due care and consideration. Nabbed for street racing at approximately 200 kph on Vancouver's busy Highway 99 through Delta at roughly two in the afternoon, what makes these 13 street racers exceptional isn't the speed or audacity, it's their now impounded rides: no less than three Lamborghini Gallardos, three Nissan GTRs, two Maserati GranTurismos, an Audi R8, a Mercedes Benz SLS and SL63 AMG, an Aston Martin DB9 and a Ferrari 599. And the best part? None of the vehicles' owners are older than 21, with some still falling within British Columbia's Novice driver program.
