Review: 2016 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro

If you want to go off-roading in Canada in the winter, you can use a snowmobile.

"But if you prefer heated seats," according to Howard Elmer, the 2016 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro may be more your speed.

After being introduced in the United States for the 2015 model year, the TRD Pro makes its way north of the border sporting all the off-road goodies you could need in the snow, sand or mud.

From larger Bilstein remote reservoir shocks, beefy coil springs, a three-inch lift, aluminum skid plates and a TRD cat-back dual exhaust system for good measure, the TRD Pro is ready for pretty much anything you'd want to throw at a near-$60,000 truck.

This segment originally appeared on Episode 14 of Motoring 2016.
