Test Drive: 2016 BMW i3

BMW's answer is its i brand.

And while the i8 is the German automaker's interpretation of the future of performance, the 2016 BMW i3 is its take on the future of commuting.

Powered by an electric motor that makes 170 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft. of torque, the BMW i3 offers a range of 160 kilometres—a figure that jumps to 250 kilometres with the range extender on board.
