When a first-tier F1 team creates a road-going car, expectations are high. The McLaren 650S, powered by a twin-turbo 3.8-litre V8 good for 641 horses, delivered results on a carbon-fibre plate. New for 2016, the more affordable 570S uses a 562-horsepower version of the engine, sitting behind a revised carbon-fiber tub that allows for easier access, in the interest of facilitating daily use. To reduce costs, suspensions on the 570S are not electromechanical, but remain track-worthy.
