The LS is back, untouched, for 2012. The captain of the Lexus fleet is available in various trims, such as the base, AWD, stretched and hybrid variants. All available engines are V8s, including a 5.0L in the hybrid and a 4.6L V8 in the others. This vehicle comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission, except the hybrid, which has a CVT.
