A supercar among supercars, the Bugatti Veyron has rapidly become a symbol of excess. Apparently the 1001-hp W16 that equipped the first generation was not powerful enough for some billionaires, prompting Bugatti’s recent release of the Veyron Super Sport, which delivers 1200 horsepower and 1106 lbs-ft of torque. Its top speed is – brace yourself – 430km/hr. Enough to burn out the photo radars! Oh, and in case you’re wondering about the price . . . suffice it to say that you aren’t rich enough to buy yourself one.
