The eighth generation of the 5 Series is more technologically advanced than ever, especially when it comes to semi-autonomous driving capability. For now, the Canadian lineup consists of a single model called 530i xDrive, featuring a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with mild hybrid technology and 255 horsepower. Other models are available elsewhere around the globe (540i xDrive, 550e xDrive), but they have yet to be announced. A new M5 is coming in the near future.
