Volkswagen CrossPolo : the fighter

In Geneva , the new Volkswagen Polo will be offered in two totally new versions. First off, in the “souped-up” 180 HP GTI version, before being offered in the Cross-Polo model version, defined as the family fighter, even though it will never wear the 4MOTION insignia.

Designed from the five-door hatchback model, the Cross-Polo stands out because of the use of a charcoal grey lower body shell, of a darker grille and of exclusive alloy wheels, matching certain body colors. The magic continues in the passenger compartment with color matched upholstering, sport seats, sport steering wheel and all aluminium pedals.

Motorization wise, as is the custom with Europeans, three distinctive, if not to say complementary, trios of motors will be offered in this line of sub-compact cars. In other words, three atmospheric and three diesel motors. The manual six speed transmission is standard, while the superb DSG seven speed automatic transmission is offered as an option.

Commercialization of this vehicle will happen in Europe, as of this summer.
