Record January traffic at The Car Guide / Le Guide de l’auto

LC Média Inc. is proud to announce a 50.5% increase in unique visitors on its network in January 2017 compared to January 2016. An increase in page views of 7.2% has also been recorded on the entire network and more precisely, an overall traffic increase of 26% on its site www.guideautoweb.com.

With constant updating of automotive content and efficient news delivery, LC Média’s editorial team has skilfully adopted a successful strategy. In early 2017, Le Guide de l’auto’s Facebook fan page attracted more than 100,000 followers. With significant growth on all its platforms and with more than 150 press events and launches covered in 2016, the team is a solid leader in automotive content in Quebec. It’s no surprise that 57% of www.carguideweb.com’s visitors are in their car-shopping process. The Car Guide and Le Guide de l’auto are brands recognized by consumers as being references in their car-buying decisions, and the numbers speak for themselves.

Back in May 2015, LC Média announced a strategic partnership with TC Media, allowing LC Média to expand its automotive network, while TC Media benefited from the automotive expertise of The Car Guide’s team. Through this partnership, LC Média added AutoGO.ca to its network. In October 2016, LC Média announced another partnership, this time with Motoring TV which also helped expand its automotive network.
