Christmas Gift Ideas: Car Buffers

Shopping for a car lover this Christmas? If your friend or family member enjoys polishing cars in summer, you can’t go wrong with a car buffer. And there are plenty of different products out there, available for a wide range of prices. Yes, they make buffers specifically for automobiles, and professionals use them to give vehicles an exceptional shine.

Prices range from $75 to $200, depending on the brand and quality. Another option is an accessory that you attach to an electric drill to shine your car at a low cost. Big-name automobile maintenance specialists sell them for about $50 in specialty shops. There’s even a type of spherical alloy wheel polisher that allows you to polish flat surfaces and rim openings. With these, too, there’s a large selection and the prices are reasonable.

It’s also worth noting that polishing kits include some automotive beauty products and an accessory to apply them. These kits are relatively affordable, but the applicator is generally less heavy-duty than those made for professional use.

If these application and buffing tools are beyond your means, consider offering a paint polishing liquid or paste instead. With so many products on the market, you’re sure to find one that won’t break the bank.
