Two New Dodge Models for the Woodward Dream Cruise

Each year, Detroit’s Woodward Avenue hosts a very unique event: for one day, an impressive amount of musclecars will drive up and down this street. On August 20th, the avenue will be filled with Chevy Bel Airs and Camaros, Ford Mustangs and Dodge Chargers, just to name a few.

The event is now even used by manufacturers as a marketing opportunity: for the last few years, Dodge has been hosting media days at the Woodward Dream Cruise to show off some of their newest vehicles. For example, that's where journalists discovered the 707-horsepower Charger and Challenger SRT Hellcat models.

For 2016, the American automaker is launching two new versions of its modern musclecars.

The first is the 2017 Dodge Challenger T/A. Adding some style to the big coupe, the T/A version gets you a Mopar cold-air intake which gulps air through Hellcat-inspired headlights, an electronically-controlled exhaust for cars fitted with the 5.7-litre HEMI V8, 20-inch wheels shod with Pirelli tires, unique graphics as well as the Super Track Pak. The Challenger T/A starts at USD$37,390. If you prefer to have yours fitted with the 6.4-litre (or 392 cubic-inch) HEMI V8, the bill will climb to USD$43,995.

The other model is the 2017 Dodge Charger Daytona. Just like on the previous edition of the same name, this Charger gets a larger air intake, a less restrictive exhaust and unique stickers. The 2017 version adds a sportier setting for the stability control program, unique wheels as well as the Super Track Pack.

On both those versions, two new colours are offered: Green Go and Yellow Jacket.
