Premium Edition: An Appearance Package for the GMC Yukon SLT

Let’s say you want to drive around in a GMC Yukon Denali, but can’t quite stomach its $79,705 price tag. The manufacturer might have a solution for you: the Premium Edition option package, available on the SLT grade.

This kit includes 22-inch wheels, a different front grille, chrome side skirts and aluminum exhaust tips. These add-ons give it enough appeal to slot between regular versions of the Yukon and the Denali.

The main advantage of choosing this package over the Denali (apart from the price) is the fact that the SLT doesn’t come with the thirsty 6.2-litre V8: the engine in the SLT is the 5.3-litre LS V8. It’s not exactly frugal, with a consumption number between 10 and 15 L/100 km, but it’s much better than the Denali’s average of 16 L/100 km…

The SLT starts at $68,865, which is quite a large sum of cash. The Premium Edition package will add another few thousand dollars over that price.
