Colours and Options for the 2017 Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang

The Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang is only starting to hit dealerships, but Ford is already talking about changing some details on its track-ready Pony Car.

First of all, don’t worry: the 5.2-litre naturally-aspirated. flat-crank V8 is still under the hood and a six-speed manual transmission is paired with it. This powertrain develops 526 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque. The rev limiter is still at an impressive 8250 rpm.

For the 2017 upgrades, Ford decided to listen to its customers. The changes include some new colours as well as option list modifications.

First of all, the 2017 GT350 will now be available in Ruby Red or Lightning Blue, a very nice dark metallic hue. Paying homage to the musclecar era, Grabber Blue is also back.

There are two new option packages: the Electronic group includes SYNC 3, a voice-activated navigation system and a nine-speaker sound system. The Convenience package adds all this plus a pair of power-adjustable leather seats (instead of the manually-adjustable Recaro chairs). Finally, the Track package is now standard.

Ford is also now offering an available rear bench seat in the GT350R… In case you need room to terrify more passengers on the track!
