Spotlight on the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe

The previous version of the Honda Civic may have been accused of simply offering more of the same, but the newest iteration has been completely overhauled. The Japanese compact has been treated to countless improvements to both the body and inner mechanicals.

The new 174-horsepower, 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo marks a major milestone, as it is the first Honda product in North America to come with a turbocharger. For those who prefer more traditional engines, there’s also a 158-horsepower, 2.0-litre mill.

The Civic comes in two distinct body types: sedan and coupe. We loved the sedan when it launched and now it’s time to see if we feel the same way about the two-door variant.

All this brings us to Vancouver, where Honda has invited us to take a closer look at the 2016 Civic Coupe in all its forms. Later this week, we’ll publish our full test review. Until then, you can always check out our other articles on the 2016 Honda Civic—or even compare it against its rivals.
