A Camper For Your Ford, By Ford
Camping enthusiasts have a wide selection to choose from when they are shopping for a camper or a caravan. There’s a lot of different brands, and enough models and sizes to satisfy everyone, from the single traveller to the family hauling their second home away every weekend.
Thanks to a partnership with Livin Lite, Ford will now sell you a camper or a caravan built specially for your F-150: designed and built using Dearborn’s specifications, these units are perfect to explore new terrains with your Ford. They are also decorated with the brand’s blue oval (although they seem to be painted brown), which will pair nicely with your truck.
Obviously, both the camper and the caravan will be made out of aluminum; both manufacturers took special care to keep aerodynamics in check, which will help fuel consumption.
Campers will be available for 6- and 8-foot beds, while the caravans will be 6.7 metres long. There is also a longer version called the Toy Hauler, which is 8 metres long and adds a garage in the back that can haul some small off-road toys or a motorcycle. In the future, Ford will also offer a gooseneck trailer as well as a series of pop-up campers.
