If you’ve ever worked in a garage, you know that battery chargers can be big, hefty, clunky things to lug around. OutPower changes all that with the release of their new product which literally fits in the palm of your hand and can boost your vehicle with power to spare.

Founded in 2014 by a financial analyst in the Tech industry, OutPower is a Canadian-owned corporation that is making waves in the automotive market with the new product. It’s the smallest and lightest portable jump starter on the market today.

The OutPower device uses a high capacity and high power battery of 7500 mAh with a peak current of 400 amps. It’s fast charging and has a low self-discharge rate. When fully charged, the device can boost up to fifteen (yes fifteen) vehicles on a single charge.

With its sleek design, one could actually mistake it for an Apple iPhone. In fact, the OutPower device also functions as a charger for all your portable electronic devices. Rather than waste time and money with cheap, low efficiency, flimsy portable chargers, OutPower will power up your iPhone or Galaxy many times over.

Very few people carry a booster pack in their cars because of the size and weight. The OutPower device changes all that and gives the consumer the added safety of knowing that a boost is always there when you need it. For us Canadians, that translates to peace of mind during our harsh winters.

Functionality couldn’t be any easier. Booster cables and phone connectors come standard and there are no buttons to press. The device powers down safely on its own after every charge. To recharge, simply plug it into any 120V household outlet and within two hours it’s fully powered.

On a full charge the device can deliver approximate fifteen boosts to vehicle batteries and up to four complete charges for phones. A full charge can be held on idle for up to 3 months.

For now, the device is only available for purchase on their website and retails for $199.
