Chevrolet Impala Midnight Edition: Like A Little Black Dress

GM is a big fan of special editions; most of their vehicles can be ordered with sticker packages, special paints and unique accents. Recently, the trend seems to be gravitating toward black vehicles: the Silverado and a few other models can be ordered with a Midnight Edition package, which gives a sinister look to the vehicle.

The most recent vehicle to get the ‘’all-black’’ treatment is the Chevrolet Impala, the brand’s flagship sedan. Based on the vehicle that was presented at the SEMA Show, the car differs from a standard Impala thanks to its metallic paint job, body-coloured mirrors, unique 19-inch wheels, blackened Chevrolet bowtie, rear spoiler and sport pedals.

This package is available for the 1LT, 2LT and LTZ. The price will vary between $995 and $1,595 USD depending on which trim level you order it on.

The Midnight Edition will be available for 2016 model-year cars, but a few 2015s will be produced. They will be 2LT models equipped with the 2.5-litre 4-cylinder engine.
