2016 GMC Terrain Unveiled In New York

The smallest vehicle in the GMC lineup, the Terrain is based on the same platform as the very popular Equinox. Since the Chevrolet crossover received a few updates this year, we expected its GMC brother to also be refreshed for the 2016 model-year.

Looks like we were right; the manufacturer just unveiled the latest version of the Terrain at the New York Auto Show.

The most striking part of this new design is probably the car’s nose: The bottom of the bumper is now longer and features a curved chrome stripe. The hood is also new, and the better equipped versions now feature a chromed-out grille.

Inside, we can also see a new infotainment system upgrade, better seat fabric and a chromed shifter.

There are no changes under the hood, however. The 2.4-litre four-cylinder is still standard, and those who need more power will opt for the 3.6-litre V6.

The first live pictures of the 2016 GMC Terrain should be available shortly, since the vehicle will be displayed at the New York Auto Show.
