A Sketch Of What Will Become The Next Honda Ridgeline

The Honda Pilot SUV may be popular, but it is also long overdue for a refresh. Its shape looks somewhat ancient, its interior is starting to look dated and the whole vehicle feels like it isn’t up to par with the rest of Honda’s lineup.

The Pilot will finally be updated for 2016, and we saw the new model at the Chicago Auto Show. We can’t wait to wait to see if it drives as good as it looks.

This new Pilot means that its brother the Ridgeline will also get a replacement.

The first sketch of what will eventually become the next Honda Ridgeline has been shown during the Chicago Auto Show. While we don’t have a lot of information right now, we see that the rear is longer than the one on the current Ridgeline, which leads us to believe that the next iteration will have more cargo space than the current model. The tailgate is also puzzling; it features a vertical line in its center, this could mean that said tailgate would open in two distinct parts.

However, we will have to wait a while before we see what Honda has in mind for the next Ridgeline.
