The Last Pagani Zonda… Again

It’s now a running gag in the automotive industry: every version of the Pagani Zonda is now the last one, ever since the Cinque was launched in 2009. After that, they unveiled the Cinque Roadster, which was supposed to be the ultimate Zonda.

We then saw the Zonda Tricolore, the R, the R Evolution, the Revolución and a slew of one-offs created specifically for rich customers. Each one was supposed to be (can you guess?) the last Zonda Pagani would ever make.

This is why we are less than convinced when we hear the same about this one-off special Zonda, the 760RSJX. Based on the 760 series, it features the aurally-pleasant V12 from AMG, which sends 760 horsepower through a sequential gearbox.

The car is a little different from a regular Zonda: it is painted turquoise, features LEDs that come from a Tricolore, a cockpit that matches the bodywork and lots of carbon fibre, from the front bumper winglets to the rear spoiler to the rear splitter.

This unique vehicle is owned by someone in Hong Kong, and they are guaranteed to be driving home the very last Zonda… Until the next one comes out.
