2014 Green Car Of The Year Award: The Winner Is...

It's now a tradition. Each auto show has its own award. Detroit has the Car and Truck of the Year. Los Angeles awards the Green Car of the Year.

This year, 5 cars were considered: the Audi A3 TDI, BMW i3, Chevrolet Impala Bi-Fuel, Honda Fit and Volkswagen Golf.

Just a few minutes ago, the jury chose the winner...

The 2014 Los Angeles Green Car of the Year award goes to the BMW i3. With its 170 horsepower electric motor powering the rear wheels, the BMW i3 offers interesting performance, while still being able to travel between 120 and 160 km on a full battery charge.
