Could We See A Flying Car Soon?

Aeromobil, a small independent manufacturer based in Slovakia, has created a prototype of a flying car they hope to eventually sell to the public.

The concept allows the vehicle to be driven on the street like a car but also use any airport to take off or land. It’s fueled by regular automotive gasoline.

“We want to make personal transportation exciting, more efficient and sustainable. With ever more cars on the roads and ever more crowded airports, travelling is no longer what it used to be,” said AeroMobil’s CTO Stefan Klein, who has been working on developing a flying car for two decades.

We probably won't see these cars on the highway tomorrow morning, but it's not impossible that a few will buzz over our heads in less than a decade...
