2015 Ford F-150: We're Driving It This Week

This week, Car Guide is heading to Texas, land of the pickup truck, to finally put the 2015 Ford F-150 through its paces. Do not underestimate this model since the F-Series has been the best-selling vehicle in Canada for a number of years. It is now up to us to determine if the latest Ford truck is up to par.

For 2015, Ford is betting on lightness, since they chose to build the F-150’s bodywork entirely out of aluminium. This is a risky bet, but it just might pay off. With the help of a new high-density steel chassis, the F-150 is 317 kg (700 pounds) lighter than the outgoing version.

Under the hood are a choice of Ecoboost mills, a 2.7L and a 3.5L, while the 5L V8 engine is still available.
