Hyundai Aims For The Van Market

Hyundai is currently on a roll. In just a few short years, the South-Korean manufacturer has gone from building cheap little cars to full-size sedans that can stand up to a comparison with the very best (AKA the Germans). Not only that, but they have also branched out into nearly every single segment.

It seems that they now want to steal some global sales away from Mercedes-Benz, Ford and Fiat with an all-new commercial van, the H350. The corporate ‘’shark nose’’ grill is immediately recognizable, but the rest looks like any other van. We only have these two teaser shots so far, but we can already see that there will be three individual seats inside. The renderings also feature the most beautiful wheels I have ever seen on a commercial van. These almost certainly won’t make it into production, but a man can dream…

The H350 will be built in Turkey, and will be unveiled at the Hannover IAA Commercial Vehicle Show on September 24.

For now, the van is only intended to be sold in Europe, but if the model is well-received, it may yet be possible to see the South-Korean transporter on our roads.
