End Of The Hyundai Elantra Coupe In The USA

It would seem that the Hyundai Elantra Coupe is not very popular among buyers in the United States. For this reason, the Korean automaker decided to stop selling the car there for 2015.

The Elantra Coupe was only produced for a few years, and it was based on the Elantra sedan. It was marketed as a sportier, more fun to drive version of the compact car. However, customers were not convinced, and sales were lagging behind the other models from the brand, not to mention that its sibling, the Kia Forte Koup, is much more successful.

With the Elantra Coupe gone, only the sedan and the 5-door (GT) remain.

For now, the car is still sold as a 2014 model, and dealerships are probably very eager to sell the ones they have remaining on the lot.

For now, we don't know if the Canadian Elantra Coupe will follow suit.
