The 2015 Nissan Maxima Will Look Like the Sport Sedan Concept

Nissan North America’s chairman, Jose Munoz, stated that the 2015 Maxima should look pretty similar to the Sport Sedan Concept, unveiled in Detroit this year.

In a recent interview, Munoz said the production version of the Nissan Maxima would not be very different from the Sport Sedan Concept, which was shown alongside the Murano at the New York Auto Show. The chairman also mentioned that his company directly targets Honda’s sales number, and will use radical styling to get people interested in the brand.

Andy Palmer, chief of product planning, said: “Frankly, I’d rather have 60 percent of people saying they like the car, and 40 percent of people saying they hate it than to have 100 percent of people saying it’s just OK.”

The 2015 Nissan Maxima should be powered by a 300+HP V6 mated to a CVT transmission.
