2015 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4X4 Coming to North America Next Year

The 2015 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 4x4 is slated to arrive in North America in the first quarter of 2015. Until now, the 4x4 variant has been absent from North America, so this is good news for Canadian delivery people who need that little extra something to get through the winter weather.

The van will come in either 144 or 170-inch wheelbases. You’ll also be able to choose a low or high roof for the Passenger Van, Crew Van and Cargo Van models.

If you want to take advantage of the 4x4 option, the van will come equipped with a 3.0-litre V6 BlueTEC clean diesel making 188 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque.

The body has been lifted slightly for 2015 giving it more off-road capability. What’s nice is that the 4x4 option is available at the touch of a button and the van has an optional low-range gear for even more traction.

Pricing will be announced later.
