VL Automotive Destino: A Gasoline-Powered Fisker Karma

Bob Lutz and VL Automotive bought twenty five Fisker Karmas to give them a second chance at life.

The Karma sedan becomes the VL Automotive Destino and loses its hybrid powertrain, which is replaced by a gasoline engine.

The Destino sedan will be available in two versions powered by Corvette engines:
- LT1 V8 6.2-litre with 450 horsepower;
- LS9 V8 6.2-litre with 638 horsepower.

Sales will begin in mid-2014 and the sticker price will be $200,000.

In the meantime, they will receive an official presentation in January at the International Auto Show in Detroit.
