SRT Viper Production Slowed

Chrysler is reducing production of the SRT Viper whose sales are not living up to expectations.

We're talking about a one-third reduction of the original numbers.

The American manufacturer had produced 2000 vehicles annually, however during the last eight months only 426 Vipers were sold. We also learn that 565 SRT Vipers are collecting dust in North American dealer showrooms.

The decision has also led the SRT division to transfer some employees to other assembly plants.
