2015 Acura TL Will be Smaller, More Powerful

Acura’s TL luxury sedan is due to be replaced next summer and when it arrives it will be smaller and more powerful.

The vehicle will be based on the 2013 Honda Accord platform and will likely be called the TLX, following the naming scheme from the rest of the cars in the brand’s lineup.

The 2015 TLX is also likely to use the Precision All-Wheel Steering system on the 2014 RLX and offer all-wheel drive as an option. No details yet on whether there will be a hybrid component.

The current generation offers a 280 hp 3.5L V6 and 305 hp 3.7L V6 but look for the 2015 to have only a new 3.5L V6 with more advanced technology.
This downsizing will also mean that the TSX will be discontinued.
