Acura NSX Concept paints a pretty picture of Acura's future

Finally. After years of dreaming about it, and suffering through the countless rumours, Acura has finally bestowed it's NSX concept upon the world.

And it looks pretty friggin awesome.

Appearing to mix equal parts Acura with the recent BMW M1 concept as well as a hefty portion of Cadillac's Cien concept of 2002, it proves that Acura's styling department isn't entirely obsessed with garish grilles and Darth Vader's taillights just as its V6 mounted amidships proves Acura hasn't forgotten what made the NSX so enviable. With a unique hybrid system that sees the engine powering the rear wheels while the fronts receive torque (when needed) from a pair of electric motors, it's not exactly the same as the previous car's more traditional drive system, but then again, there wasn't anything terribly traditional about a sedan-sourced V6 powering such a quasi-supercar in the 90's either. In any case, we can't wait to see this car through to production!
